sparkle...

My apothecary was looking kinda empty since I packed away the vintage Christmas ornaments that had filled it last month.
Epsom salts to the rescue!
In case you didn't know, Epsom salts make the best looking snow. It even sparkles. You can pick up a carton from the grocery store for a couple bucks and it's enough to fill LOTS of jars.
Some Dollar Store snowflakes, a vintage image and a few baubles later...
a Winter vignette!
(I just had to use that silver damask fabric as a backdrop- The Daughter found a gorgeous dress at the thrift store yesterday afternoon and it was laying on the table next to me when I was trying to take the picture!)

What a great idea! This looks so beautiful for the winter months, and I have most of these items. Thanks so much for the inspiration. :)
