This is the finished book project I've been working on for the last couple weeks...
You might remember that I began with a plain old Reader's Digest book from the thrift store...
After adding some personality to it, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
I love to use little pieces of "junque" (get it? daily junque?)
Good thing my word was short... I don't have many of these Scrabble tiles left anymore...
A bit of smudged paint (it is SO much fun to play with your fingers in the paint!), a piece of measuring tape, a few select stamped words and it was all done.
Who doesn't love cherries???

Such a one-of-a-kind work of art. Think of it--in the whole universe, there's nothing like it. :) Beautiful!
I've loved seeing each page it has be inspiring.... so much so I'm on the look out for a suitable book to altered one myself
