envelope accordian book...

Here's a quick little thing you can whip up in no time...

Many months ago, Cathe Holden over at Just Something I Made had a great little project for an 'accordian-style' book made with envelopes- you can find her instructions here. I just took it and ran with it, making it fit what I needed... both a place to keep paint chips and measurements for the house, along with any magazine clippings for decorating ideas. My current organizational system of having them scattered all over the desk and tucked away in drawers wasn't really meeting my needs anymore!
Here's the back...
Here's the inside... you can use as many envelopes as you need.

I just used her downloadable 'vintage-style' labels and some rubber stamps...

To keep the little book closed, I used one of those metal buttons like you find on your blue jeans, plus a length of twill tape.

Cathe also provides a cute little label that can be printed out... I just glued it on top of a Jenni Bowlin bingo card and added a little birdie stamp.

The whole thing only took about a half hour to put together so I decided to make another smaller version to keep in my purse for coupons and receipts...

This one just uses a hair rubberband to keep it closed.

Easy peasy. Make one (or two or three!) today...
