life is good...

Life really is good. It was especially good this weekend when I finally got a chance to play with all my new goodies from Tammy Tutterow!
I simply couldn't decide between stamps or dies, so... I used both! The whole thing began with 2 canvases; I wrapped the larger canvas with a single sheet of vintage sheet music...
The smaller canvas was painted with distress paint to make a base for the wood-grain stamp. The image was so pretty stamped onto a piece of book print!
These leaves have such great detail to them- the veins really gave the whole collage some depth and texture. And ya know how I love texture! I'm pretty sure these leaves are going to find their way onto just about everything I make...
I wrapped the sheet music and the flowers around the edges and was pleased with the look.
The final detail was the little frayed label die stamped with a favorite phrase.

Life IS good!

Wow, Teri! This is so filled with fun and whimsy! I love your style! I love the way you stamped the woodgrain on the text panel. Genius!

Love the "freedom" or "happy" that I get from this piece. Love it, so much fun. Thanks for sharing this with us. I just found you through Tammy, and I am so glad I did!!!
