time for love... pt 1

I'm finally getting a chance to post my design team project from last month... better late than never!
The centerpiece of it all was this- the Tim Holtz Alterations clock. Fun! But... first things first- it was just too shiny and silver. Nothing a little spray paint can't fix! (and yeah, you are seeing two clocks. Actually I bought 2 extras so there are 3 all together!)
I cut some chipboard into a circle to create a base for the collage in the front. There is a little adhesive to hold it in place.
We're really not supposed to add any photos to our projects- in the fall there is a huge crop to benefit breast cancer and all the design team projects from the year are auctioned off.
So shoot me. I cannot make something and NOT add a vintage image. I simply cannot!
There were all kinds of little bits and pieces cut from the Teresa Collins 'stationary noted' line along with Prima swirls, paper roses and some teeny tiny black pom pom trim which you really can't see in this photo...
Tucked into the back of the clock is a little circle book... but that will have to wait for another post!

xo,
