poppyseed cake...

Just a quick post today- I scrapped/Skyped all day with the Scrappy Girls (hellllloooo North Carolina!!!)

I baked a cake this morning and thought I'd stick the recipe on here... it's an oldie but still a goodie.

Poppyseed Cake
1 yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (4-servings) instant vanilla pudding
2 teaspoons poppyseeds
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, beaten
Combine all ingredients and pour into an oiled and sugared tube pan (or Bundt pan). Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. Serve slices with powdered sugar or with a glaze made from 1 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup milk.

Try it. for breakfast. lunch. or dinner.
