life is too short...

Today I've got a little project to share with you. I made it for my design team challenge for Art Inspired Studios with last month's kit.

I had a really great package of paper to work with- I loved it all. There were a few pieces from the Pink Paislee line 'Queen Bee'.

Some fun embellies in my bag included these great black-on-kraft "doilies" from Maya Road, along with some of my favorite resin flower buttons.

I strung the whole project together with some black seam binding and added lots of misc. alphabet stamps.

Lastly, I had in my bag this journaling card from My Mind's Eye. I used it with a chunky chandelier drop to finish the whole thing off.

I really love this quote (and I'm sorry, but I've no idea who the author is):

Laugh when you can, apologize when you should,

and let go of what you can't change.

Kiss slowly, forgive quickly,

Give everything and have no regrets.

Life is too short to be anything but happy.

Pretty good advice, don't you think?
