A couple days ago I read a
post at Notes From A Cottage Industry about trying to put little tiny party hats on birds and it made me laugh because I did the same thing myself a few weeks ago!

We've got a new cupcake store opening soon in town (YAY!!!) called 'The Cupcake!' It's owned by two darling girls- Priscilla and Cat- you can read about them
here at their blog, The Cupcake Diaries. A mutual friend hooked us up together and I had the awesome job of making display pedestals for their first open house. Well I couldn't have picked a more fun project- or people to work with- their style is vintage, their colors are black & white, ummm... yeah. Perfect match!

Here are just a couple of the stands I made for them to display their cupcakes.

This one is my favorite- that paper with numbers on it is just soooo cute.
Oh yeah, and their cupcakes are to die for. Truly. Can't wait for the store to open up. Hurry girls!

Thanks for the shout out!
Hello! I wanted to say "thank you" for visiting my blog, Love and Life at Leadora. I am new to blogging, so when someone leaves a comment it is very exciting! I must say, after visiting your blog, I am a bit intimidated. Your blog and every one of your projects are absolutely beautiful. I especially LOVE the cupcake stands! I will be visiting again soon!
