getting spooky!

Each season, I change out the 'art' downstairs on the shelves next to my studio. Way back around Easter, I explained how I do it- the EASY way to have a constantly-changing holiday look.

Not the greatest photo- sorry, by the time I remembered to take the photo it was night! But I think you get the idea... lots of layers, lots of color... basically, anything goes as long as it fits into the holiday I'm showing.

Wow, another great shot, huh? blurry and everything...
but what I'm trying to show is how easy it is to make your own little collages out of whatever you happen to have on hand- paper, stamps, old embellishments left from your scrapbooking pages, punches, crepe paper. whatever you can find. The idea here is to just use what you've got and see where it takes you.

Oh how I love your shelves full of art! I remember your spring post, too.... was totally going to do it right then and there... never did, of course, LOL! Now I'm wishing I had - definitely someday - I've got art envy ;).
