One more project from our Scrappy Tuesday... a little picture frame filled with patriotic butterflies. This one was really fun to make- and everyone's turned out a little different, depending on the papers we used to punch the butterflies.
The butterflies were punched using a Martha Stewart punch and scraps from our projects that day. We just glued one on top of the other to give them dimension. They were then glued to a piece of ledger paper that had been zig-zag stitched around the edge. I used buttons on mine (tied with bakers twine) to fill in the spaces between them.
This was a really fun little project. I hope you try it!
Beautiful and so simple - What could be better! I have a few more ideas for those butterflys so I'm definately going to have to look for that punch. Thank you for sharing!
