Over the weekend I received my package from Karla over at Karla's Cottage- she had coordinated the Alice tag swap. It was wrapped up inside a page from a vintage Alice In Wonderland book... the little glitter-filled glass bottle attached said 'drink me'... it was all too cute.
Here is what was inside- seven tiny little works of art. How cool! My photos don't do them justice because the colors and details are so rich. It must have been quite a bit of work for Karla, as there were about 80 participants in all! Just imagine having to put together that many sets of tags, along with creating the covers & bottles for all and then packaging and mailing them to each participant. Thank you, Karla, for all the work you put into this. It is much appreciated!
This first one is the cover that Karla created... look at the little door!
Here is the front and back of a tag from an anonymous artist- it's so cute, I wish she had signed her name so that I could contact her to thank her...
This one is from M. Babs at Tales From An OC Cottage. The cup and spoon are filled with red glitter- it really doesn't show up in the photo how very sparkly it is.
Shawn Behrends of Bonoramamama created this one- she used so many different mediums. I especially love the stitching!
I had to show the front and back of this tag created by Myra Ernst. She used a beautiful piece of vintage wallpaper on it.
This little lovely is the work of Christine Nay of Change Of Heart. The flower is covered in sparkly glitter.
